Are lilies toxic to cats?
EXTREMELY dangerous to cats: every part, including pollen and the vase water, can cause fatal kidney failure. Never deliver to a home with cats. In dogs usually only stomach upset.
Which flowers are safe for pets?
The guide lists 22 varieties recorded as non-toxic by the ASPCA, including Rose, Orchid (Phalaenopsis), Gerbera Daisy, Sunflower, Lisianthus, Alstroemeria (Peruvian Lily). Use the "Pet-safe only" filter to see them all.
What is the difference between a focal flower and a filler?
A focal flower is the largest bloom and leads the shape of the arrangement, such as a rose. A filler is smaller and fills the gaps to add volume and balance, while line flowers and greenery draw the outline.
How long does a rose bouquet last?
Roses hold 7-10 days in the vase when you change the water daily, trim the stems at an angle and keep them away from direct sun and air conditioning.
