New home flowers

A housewarming gift is better when it is practical: an arrangement already in its vase, or an indoor plant that stays with the household for months. A new home rarely has a spare vase, so we avoid wrapped bouquets here.

Green and white suit any new interior without risk. If there is a cat or a dog in the house, say so in the notes: we will choose pet-safe flowers and leave out lilies, tulips and the other varieties that are harmful.
